NUVO AI - Python Developer

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a passionate and highly motivated Python Developer (Fresh Graduate) to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of Python, data structures & algorithms, and a keen interest in building scalable applications. You will work closely with senior developers and AI/ML teams to contribute to various software development and integration tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and optimize Python-based applications and modules.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers to integrate Python components with AI/ML systems.
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices.
  • Assist in data preprocessing, transformation, and handling for AI/ML workflows.
  • Participate in code reviews, debugging, and unit testing to ensure high-quality software.
  • Translate complex requirements into reliable software solutions.
  • Research and experiment with new Python tools, libraries, and frameworks.
  • Maintain documentation for code, workflows, and system architecture.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • B.E./B.Tech/M.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, AI/ML, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA).
  • Proficiency in Python, with hands-on experience using libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, and scikit-learn.
  • Good understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) and software engineering principles.
  • Basic understanding of machine learning concepts is a plus.
  • Familiarity with at least one deep learning framework (TensorFlow/PyTorch) is an added advantage.
  • Strong analytical and logical problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability and eagerness to learn new technologies quickly.

Preferred Attributes (Nice to Have):

  • Academic or personal projects using Python.
  • Experience with version control systems like Git.
  • Exposure to backend frameworks such as Django or Flask.
  • Knowledge of REST APIs, databases, or cloud technologies.
