MERN Stack Developer : Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Build full-stack web applications using MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js.
- Collaborate with product managers, UI/UX designers, and developers on project requirements.
- Write clean, maintainable code following industry best practices.
- Integrate RESTful and GraphQL APIs, and third-party services.
- Optimize applications for performance and scalability.
- Perform unit and integration testing.
- Debug and upgrade existing systems.
- Participate in code reviews and pair programming.
- Use Git for version control (GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket).
Required Skills:
- Proficient in MERN stack with live deployed projects (portfolio links required).
- Strong React.js skills using hooks, Redux/Context.
- Backend knowledge in Node.js and Express.js.
- MongoDB experience with schema design and aggregations.
- Basic understanding of CI/CD, Docker, and cloud (AWS/GCP/Azure).
- JWT/OAuth-based authentication experience.
- Version control proficiency using Git.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum workflow.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Experience with TypeScript.
- Knowledge of mobile-first responsive design.
- Familiarity with Jest or Mocha for testing.
